Life in Draj
Draj is a militaristic city state that seems to be loosely inspired from Mesoamerican civilizations. It is surrounded by a fairly deep mudflat.

Defending the city is easy. A single stone paved road leads to the city. Draji warriors armed with macuahuitl and a sort of harpoon on a rope thingy are able to control the passage or deviate enemies into the thick mud.

Captured enemy soldiers are normally taken to the top of a pyramid where their heart is ritually ripped out of the ribcage.

Despite Draj's warmongering nature, other city-states still conduct trade with it, because they depend on two important resources produced by Draj:

DrajĀ’'s economy is based on agriculture of two important resources: hemp and grain.

[edit] Age of the Sorcerer-Kings

Draj was ruled by King Tectuktitlay, who fancied himself a god.

[edit] Decade of Heroism

Leadership was passed on to Atzetuk, who has been brainwashed to believe he is the son of King Tectuktitlay. He has no real power, and is a figurehead controlled by the Moon Priests and the masters of the House of the Mind.
