Sapyn

Sapyn is the current ruler of the Temple of the Silent Ones, and creator of the Yuan-ti.

Sapyn appears to most as a gigantic snake wrapped around a Tree of Life. Sapyn had a couple other forms, one being a slimy humanoid and one being a large floating jellyfish.

Sapyn was the first creature on Athas, and is respectively the Primal Drake of Time. His job is to join the other Primal Drakes to fight the Elder Elemental God everytime Athas explodes.

Sapyn created the Yuan-ti, and has them train in his Temple. When he feels one of his knights is strong enough, he will send them out on a quest to gain knowlege for him and the Temple, or on a mission of great importance, as he is limited in what he can do.
